Nicaragua’s Ministry of Health is responsible for health leadership and is the main health service provider, accounting for 65% of nation’s health coverage. The Ministry of Health, in coordination with the regional governments, also works to incorporate
intercultural concepts into health care models in the Atlantic Autonomous Regions.
Pending MOU with the Nicaragua Ministry of Health to provide technical support and strengthen medical capacity to expand the cervical cancer prevention program in Nicaragua.
